Then and Now,
Southampton’s former train Station (pictured in 1908) is now a personal residence & is on this years Christmas tour of homes.
For the third year, Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation is the charity of choice and in each of the previous two years the Chambettes have raised over $11,000 for the Foundation. This year they’re hoping to exceed that amount.
There are three Port Elgin properties and five from Southampton on this year’s tour, including a Grosvenor St. residence, formerly a train station and restaurant.
The Home Tour begins Friday evening, November 13 at 6pm, until 9 and continues through Saturday, November 14 from 11am to 4pm. Advance tickets are $20 and are available at Bayberry’s in Southampton, Cathy’s Flowers ‘N Treasures and Port’s Emporium in Port Elgin. Tickets are also available at the door.
