Fields of Dreams @ Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre
Sep 22 @ 10:00 am – Nov 30 @ 5:00 pm

Each spring, they travel northward to another part of the world for one purpose … to earn a living in support of their families. They are the migrant workers from Mexico who come to Canada under the Seasonal Farm Workers programs. “Fields of Dreams” is an extraordinary photography exhibit featuring the stories of these workers who leave their families, homes and culture for six months and bring their valuable skills to harvest crops in Saugeen Shores. It is their faith, knowledge, work ethic and their desire for a better life for their families that keeps them returning each year to their Fields of Dreams.
Proudly presented by Community Foundation Grey Bruce. This exhibit was created in partnership with Hi-Berry Farms with support from the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation and Consulate General of Mexico.
